Your adventure

Six worlds. One goal: teach robotics.

You do not need to be a genius. You need to be curious. Here is the path every student walks, one world at a time.

1World 1

Word World

Take a real science story and retell it in Yorùbá. You and your team turn big ideas into words you can feel.

2World 2

The Press

See your work published in the Abúlé STEAM Journal, with your own research paper.Only with your parent’s or guardian’s permission.

3World 3

Robot Lab

Build robots in your browser. Wire them, code them, press Run and watch them work. No kit needed.

4World 4

Teacher Stage

Pick one lesson from the Job Track and teach it on video, in Yorùbá, like a proper young teacher.

5World 5

Verdict Day

Our PhD Team watches every video. Pass, and you earn your Job Track certificate.

6World 6

Level Up

You become a Young Beginner-Friendly Robotics Teacher, join Abúlé STEAM, and unlock the next stage.

SPARK

Young Beginner-Friendly Robotics Teacher

You start here. Everyone does.

The Robot Lab

Three lessons. Zero kits.

Everything runs in an online lab on a laptop. Wire it. Code it. Press Run. Nothing real can break, so you can try anything.

Starter★☆☆

Make a Traffic Light

Make two roads take turns. Your first real program.

LightsTimingLoopsC++
You build: a junction where Road A and Road B take turns. You learn: pins, HIGH and LOW, and how delay counts time.
digitalWrite(greenA, HIGH);
Builder★★☆

The Automatic Door

A sensor sees you coming, and the door opens by itself.

SensorsServo motorIf / elsePython
You build: a door that opens when it senses movement. You learn: how a program chooses, and how a servo turns.
if sensor.value() == 1:
    door_open()
Builder★★☆

The Parking Helper

Sound waves measure the wall. Green, yellow, red. Then STOP.

Distance sensorNumbersIf / elif / elsePython
You build: the reversing sensor in a car. You learn: how to turn a number from a sensor into a decision.
elif d > 30:
    yellow.value(1)
The Job Track Scholarship has about 15 rigorous robotics projects in all. These three lessons are your warm-up.

Teachers: see how it works
Stay safe, stay awesome

Four rules for every builder.

Ask a grown-up first

Before you share your name, photo or video, ask a parent or guardian.

Keep private things private

Never share your home address, phone number or passwords online.

Be kind

Give feedback as two stars and a wish. Praise first, then help.

Tell someone

If anything online feels wrong, tell a parent, guardian or teacher right away.

Your name, work and voice are only published with your parent’s or guardian’s signed permission. No permission, no publishing. Simple.
The Hall of Fame

These frames are waiting for you.

The first students to earn their Job Track certificate will shine here, with their parent’s or guardian’s permission. Will it be you?

Quick answers

Questions students ask.

Can I join on my own?
Schools join Abúlé STEAM, so ask your teacher to apply. It is free for the school. Use the message above.
How old do I need to be?
Our robotics lessons are written for children from about age 7. The Job Track Scholarship suits secondary students.
Do I need a robot?
No. You build and test robots in an online lab on a laptop. Nothing real can break, so you can try anything.
Do I need to know coding already?
No. The first lessons are copy, run and play. You learn by changing the numbers and watching what happens, just like the code lab at the top of this page.
Do I have to speak Yorùbá?
You will translate science into Yorùbá and teach in Yorùbá, and your Yorùbá teacher helps you. If you are still learning, that is perfect.
Is it really free?
Yes. It is completely free for your school, and for you.
Who will see my video?
Your video goes on your school’s own TikTok and YouTube pages, run by an adult at your school, and only with your parent’s or guardian’s permission.
What if I make a mistake?
That is how builders learn. Finding and fixing a mistake even earns you the Bug Hunter badge. Partner schools give kind feedback: two stars and a wish.
Who decides if I get the certificate?
Our PhD Team watches every video and decides who earns the Job Track certificate.
What happens when I get it?
You become an official Young Beginner-Friendly Robotics Teacher, you are welcomed into Abúlé STEAM, and you are introduced to the next stage.
